Following our letter to council, I received an email from Council that they have agreed to hold a meeting in Ohakune and stream it this coming Tuesday (30th April).
Unfortunately they are not opening it up for the public to ask questions live, rather they will be selecting and reading questions from the comments posted to the live stream.
If you are based in Ohakune, we ask that you please attend the meeting in person if you can and perhaps you could help relay questions from the public if you don't mind. The stream will be available from 5pm on Councils Facebook page.
I find it astonishing they can hold a meeting and not answer questions. That is just beyond comprehension!
